Parents doing Parent things

A Parent Power Revolution Has Begun

Early literacy is about more than reading to your child every day or even asking questions about the text while you read.   At some point, we do have to remember those little brains will one day do more than amuse us.  They will have to write papers, compare and contrast passages, and hopefully, dissect a financial statement or two!  In order for them to be able to even do those things, it is up to us to prime their brain for “higher order literacy skills!”  Higher order? Sounds fancy.  It’s not. Relax.  We are still talking about babies.

Check the prince and I practice skills like following directions and listening to word clues in this easy, free, no-batteries-required game.  I mean really, is the kid cute or what?

Parent Power is on the way!
